Make your voice and your vote count...

We invite you to attend the Annual General Meeting at 5.30pm on Monday, 4 October 2010 - your vote is important to the continuation of your Chamber.

Whilst a legislative requirement for the election of office bearers, presentation of financial accounts and so on, it is also an opportunity to hear a summary of the year and more importantly the Chamber’s plans for the coming year.

It’s not too late to register your attendance by emailing the Chamber at enquiries@bncc.com.au. We’re always keen to have fresh ideas and welcome you to put forward your ideas for the coming year.

Another reason to attend this year is the launch of the new Membership Card (see separate article below). We’re delighted to report that for financial members, these will be available for collection on the night.

Remember – if you can’t be there in person, please click here to download a Proxy Form send it in by 12pm on Monday, 4 October. Your participation is valuable to us so please have your say.

Quality Business Writing Skills – facing extinction?

Does the reputation of your business matter to you? What does your business correspondence say about your organisation?

The investment made in having fantastic graphics and the best ever branding for your organisation can be wasted if your correspondence shows evidence of poor writing skills, incorrect spelling and incorrect punctuation.

When was your last ‘real’ holiday?

By ‘real’ holiday, I mean you didn’t think about work – no phone calls, no quick visits into the office, no email, no impromptu meetings with clients.

I’m guessing many of you, especially solo-preneurs are thinking “tell her she’s dreaming”.
