Alana’s background that spans corporate marketing and has been running her own consultancy supporting small businesses since 2021. What Alana loves most is getting to know the diverse range of businesses, their owners, and the passionate people behind them. The Chamber was there for her when she first started her business, and the wonderful people she's met through the years have kept her connected and committed to supporting the community that supported her.

Alana's passion for communication comes from a simple truth: she loves a good story. For her, communication is all about telling our stories authentically and meaningfully. Her extensive background in marketing for the services industry - both in-house and project-based - gives her the ability to see both the big picture and keep communications on track in the details. She's particularly proud of building her own business and supporting the incredible businesses she works with every day.

Outside of work, you might find Alana eating watermelon with her guinea pigs or enjoying her ‘pretty decent’ record collection. She tackles challenges with a lot of coffee and an unwavering commitment to authenticity - the value that guides all her work. Alana's genuine approach to storytelling and her deep understanding of what makes businesses tick shapes how we connect with and support our members.
