Bailey found his calling in suburban law practice straight out of university in 2021, joining Porta Lawyers where he's remained for the past five years. What drew him in was the opportunity to practice across multiple areas of law - ensuring that no two days are ever the same. Bailey's work is guided by a simple but powerful principle: keeping your word as your bond, and ensuring people get reliable, straight-shooting advice.

What Bailey loves most about his role is the moment when everything clicks for a client - when the right opportunity meets the right person at the right time. His unique strength lies in his ability to critically analyse decisions without rushing to judgement, taking the time to examine all sides of a dispute, discuss the strengths and weaknesses, and then find a solution that actually works. This measured, thoughtful approach has served his clients well, whether they're navigating complex business acquisitions or sorting through legal challenges - and it's the same skill set he brings to the Chamber, ensuring our governance decisions are well-considered and serve our members' best interests.

Outside of work, you'll find Bailey travelling - specifically to Italy, where he indulges his love of good food and a bit of spice in his life. He's also quite proud of his ability to pull off a mean "kurta" and love of all things spicy - showing his appreciation for style and culture. Bailey's reliable, no-nonsense approach to problem-solving and his genuine commitment to connecting people with good advice make him a trusted voice in our business community.
