This year, we’re honoured to once again welcome Brisbane Lord Mayor The Hon. Adrian Schrinner as our keynote speaker. He will share insights on Brisbane’s preparations to host the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and the incredible opportunities this global event presents for local businesses.

We’ll also be joined by panel members:

• Hon. Steve Minnikin MP, Queensland’s Minister for Customer Services and Open Data and Minister for Small and Family Business. With a strong background in business and a commitment to streamlining government services, the Minister will speak to how the Queensland Government plans to support small and family businesses through this transformational decade.
  
  
• Scott Whimpey, Director of First Aid Accident & Emergency, who supplied defibrillators and other medical equipment to all venue sites during the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Scott brings his valuable insights on navigating the procurement ecosystem to secure the 2018 Commonwealth Games opportunity for his business.
  
  
• Nat Cook, five-time Olympian, Gold and Bronze Medallist in beach volleyball. Serving as a Director of Brisbane 2032, Olympic and Paralympic Games Organising Committee, for almost 4 years has given Nat a broad perspective on the Games from a different perspective. As founder of the Aussie Athlete Fund, she is passionate about finding ways to leave the green and gold jersey in a better place. She continues to advocate for the athletes’ journey and holds a position on the World Olympians Association Board.

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your registration, please note the following:

Cancellations must be made in writing via email to events@bncc.com.au.
More than 14 days before the event: Full refund provided, or a credit issued for a future event.
Between 14 and 7 days before the event: A credit will be issued for a future event.
Within 7 days of the event: No refunds will be given, but you may send a substitute in your place—please notify us in advance with their details.
Non-attendance: If you do not attend the event and have not arranged a cancellation or substitute, no refund or credit will be provided.
