The Queensland Government has committed $11.5 million for the University of the Sunshine Coast to deliver a suite of free micro-credential courses for Queensland small business owners.

Micro-credentials are short, quick courses for learning new professional skills. For small and family business owners, they're an effective and affordable way to develop skills and train staff, equipping you with specific knowledge in less time than a traditional qualification.

Business courses

Six new courses are being developed, covering artificial intelligence, cyber security and procurement. A business planning course is available now, with more to follow.

Disability-friendly businesses

The free online Disability Friendly Business Basics courses help sole traders and small businesses provide accessible and inclusive services for all customers.

TAFE Queensland business skills

TAFE Queensland offers free micro-credential courses to support employers and jobseekers to recruit and retain their employees.
