Introducing Cr Adam Allan

Adam Allan was elected a Brisbane City Councillor at the 2016 local government elections.

Entering politics after a successful career in banking and consulting, Adam represents the Northgate Ward and is a member of Civic Cabinet.

He is also Chairman of the Council’s Finance and Administration Committee and is a trustee on the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Trust.

Adam recently spoke at the BNCC Night Owls networking evening where he highlighted council services for business including events, online support and supplier opportunities.

Adam has a particular interest in social finance and bringing communities together. He is in regular contact with local community groups, sporting clubs, community service providers and special interest groups.

Adam holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business. He is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a number of other professional qualifications. Adam is married with three children and lives in Wavell Heights.
