Executive Committee Profile – Dr Wendy James
Dr Wendy James is the newest member of Brisbane North Chamber of Commerce’s Executive Committee.
Wendy is an Associate Professor and head of Accounting, Finance and Economics at Australian Catholic University.
She says the Chamber provides an opportunity to share her expertise in accounting and teaching with local businesses.
“I enjoy being a member of the Brisbane North Chamber of Commerce as it allows me to keep in touch with the local business community.
“It also provides an avenue for me to provide assistance where needed. It is a very inclusive and professional organisation."
Wendy’s extensive accounting qualifications and memberships include being a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Accountant (CA).
