Introducing Rutland Smith
Rutland Smith has been involved in the IT industry for over 25 years.
Rutland is the proprietor of Brisbane’s number one Harvey Norman store at Aspley as well as Harvey Norman Business and Enterprise, a bustling commercial division part of the Harvey Norman group.
A long-time supporter of Brisbane North Chamber of Commerce, Rutland has overseen numerous ongoing discounts for BNCC members, the launch of the BNCC member portal and a recent donation of IT and computing equipment to support the chamber’s administrative and events functions.
As well as being the Lead Franchisee for Harvey Norman Brisbane, Rutland is the proud owner of three Snap Fitness gyms.
His previous roles included National Retail Manager at Apple; National Retail and SME Manager for IBM; as well as General Manager of Harvey Norman Computers where he was responsible for over a billion dollars in annual turnover.
Community is very important to Rutland and he has worked with several charities and community organisations, including:
