Small Business Month 2020
May is Queensland Small Business Month. The month celebrates the contribution small businesses make to the state’s economy.
What was previously a week-long event has grown to an entire month with more than 250 events for businesses expected to take place across
Queensland.
This week the State Government announced a
grants program providing
up to $5,000 to assist those looking to put on events during Small Business month.
Applications are now open and will close on Tuesday 10 March.
During May Brisbane North Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly Night Owls networking event on Monday 11th as well as the
annual Economic Update breakfast on Wednesday 13th.
We’ll keep you posted on any additional northside business events as they are announced and you can also follow the latest developments via
the Queensland
Small Business Month website.
