FINDING THE RIGHT HELP FOR YOUR BUSINESS

The road to recovery is well underway but it's a different journey for every business depending on how significantly you've have been impacted by restrictions.

To support the economic recovery governments have made numerous announcements of stimulus and resources for businesses looking to survive and thrive beyond COVID-19.

With so much new information it can be hard to keep up.

Many business owners are asking: "Where do I go to find out about specific help for my business?"

One recent initiative launched by Brisbane City Council is a business survival checklist. This handy tool brings together in one location the range of support available from local government as well as tips and suggestion for adapting in the current environment.

Similarly, the State Government’s Business Queensland page is kept regularly up to date with the latest support for business as well as information on Stage 2 restrictions and what they mean for your business.

Another useful site is the Coronavirus Knowledge & Support page at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland.

Finally, the Federal Government’s Coronavirus information and support for business page is an important tool for updates on Instant Asset Write-off, JobKeeper and the recently announced HomeBuilder scheme.
