Last month Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) announced that international passengers had grown by 5.2% to 5.9m in the 2018 financial year. Similarly, the domestic airport experienced its biggest growth in five years adding 263,000 passengers to take total numbers to 17.5m in 2017/18.

Passenger growth comes on the back of a number of recent major flight announcements into Brisbane including the return of the Emirates A380 service, as well as new services from Malaysia Airlines, Samoa Air and Jetstar.

Brisbane Airport Corporation is a proud supporter of Brisbane North Chamber of Commerce. As the owner and operator of Brisbane Airport there are more than 480 businesses within the BAC precinct employing thousands of Queenslanders.
