Congratulations to BNCC members Robert Cooper and Chris Jeffery who have this month been recognised for major industry achievements.

Robert’s firm, CPR Insurance Services, was named Authorised Representative Business of the Year at the 2019 Australian Insurance Industry Awards.

His business also recently won the Business Australia Magazine award for Best Insurance Brokerage (1-5 staff) with Robert himself named in the Insurance Business Australia list of Elite Insurance Brokers.

Robert said: “The awards have made us feel very special and are a great recognition of hard work as well as meeting the challenges of being a small business.”

Fellow BNCC member Chris Jeffrey has been recognised for his work as part of the Advance Queensland Community Digital Champion program which has seen him helping people with computer skills and online safety.

Chris said: “It has been an honour to support the community. This project has involved assisting not-for-profit organisations and community groups to secure and implement new technology; running training sessions to help people be more self-sufficient in maintaining their computers; and doing presentations on cyber safety, particularly for older Australians.
