This was the key message from Phillip Di Bella to more than 80 local business owners, government and industry representatives at the Brisbane North Chamber of Commerce (BNCC) signature breakfast on 31 October.
The end of year can be an incredibly busy time for business owners, particularly those in the retail sector. However, for other operators, December and January is often a quiet time and the perfect opportunity to catch up on some business housekeeping and staff development.
For local businesses, the impact could be significant. This no doubt depends on whether you view Amazon’s entry as an opportunity… or a threat.
